Sysmex donate £5,000

The Pigs4Kids campaign received a boost last year with the promise of match-funding from the medical diagnostic company Sysmex. This spurred enough people to donate via their piggy banks so that today we were able to accept a cheque for £5,000 from the Managing Director, Keith Howes, representing over £10,000 in donations.

Keith has been a supporter of the school for a number of years and was impressed by the facilities and space available in the new building. He has a nephew at the school and is aware of the challenges facing children with special needs. Mr Howes was delighted to spend some time with Palm Class and joined in with the children while they sang their good bye song for him.

Thank You Hampsted Hill School

The children of Hampstead Hill School in Pond Street have adopted two piggy banks to support the Pigs4Kids campaign, which is raising money for Swiss Cottage School, Development & Research Centre.

Alexa Greayer, deputy headteacher of Hampstead Hill, said: “They’ve done great work for many, many years. I remember from when I was a child knowing about the school in Swiss Cottage – they do wonderful work.

“We have had autistic children and children with physical problems at the school so we are very keen that our children help others.”

Good luck with your fund raising and thank you to all the boys and girls at Hampstead Hill School for supporting our piggy campaign!
