Michael Gove supports Pigs4Kids

I wanted to extend my thank you for supporting my day at school to learn about Amaya’s day and class schedule and routines. As discussed with you, this was initiated and planned based on the assumption that this would provide me with a better insight into how Amaya spends her day at school and how she participates and benefits from school activities despite the fact of her being a non-verbal student. Travelling to school with her on the school bus and attending a assembley, lunch, playground, SLT session, cooking, PE and general class routines have been an encouraging experience and exposed me to the impressive benefits Amaya takes on from her daily routine. She always comes home happy but this day I spent with Amaya at school exposed me to the reality of the systems that the school has in place to ensure inclusion, development and growth for all its pupils.

Secretary of State for Education, Michael Gove has agreed to support the Pigs4Kids Campaign which is raising money for children with special needs at Swiss Cottage School Development & Research Centre.
The MP accepted his piggy bank at the annual Hampstead & Kilburn Conservatives dinner last week “Children who are living with special educational needs can achieve amazing things but we all need to work together in order to ensure that they have the teachers and facilities that will enable them to reach their full potential.”
